Margaret (Peggy) McCormack, NP, Director of Chronic Care & Occupational Health
Peggy is an experienced and energetic Nurse Practitioner, who is dedicated to her patients and believes in working collaboratively with patients, families/caregivers, and members of the Parker at Your Door team to provide excellent care to our patients.
Peggy graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s in Science in Nursing/Adult Nurse Practitioner and then obtained her Master’s in Business Administration/Quality Management from Hofstra University.
As Director of Chronic Care Management, Peggy identifies and treats chronic illness and in partnership with patient/family/caregiver creates personalized care plans which address each patient’s individual needs. She believes that including the patient/family/caretaker in the development of the care plans is crucial. This will make certain that we are in agreement and working together to achieve the set goals
Peggy is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of working in acute care settings; she began her Nurse Practitioner career working in Cardiac Surgery at North Shore University Hospital/Northwell Health. She then moved to the Medicine Department where she was quickly promoted to Supervising Nurse Practitioner and was instrumental in creating a service model for Advanced Care Providers to provide care for 300 plus patients daily.
